Okay I only have 170 dollars to blow for christmas, I know you're all going to say buy a new one but I'm really really interested in buying a used or refurbished one. I called a local EB and they have one used, just the console and a controller for 130. So is buying a use or refurbished the way to go? I need some leftover money to buy some gifts also.

the two games the new one is packaged with are bullshit. check out a gamestop i think you get a used console + controller + halo for $120 if they are still doing it.
plus i think they guarantee the system for awhile so you dont have to worry about getting a pos. if anything is wrong with it get a different one.
too bad they are shrink wrapped or you could check em out til you find a samsung drive.
