How is this game? I've played it on the emu put it didn't run very good, just wondering how the real thing is.

It's a great fighter. There is a second plain you can duck into ala Fatal Fury just for a second to dodge attacks. Borrows from AOF, when you successfully taunt your opponent they loose some of their super meter (can still do special moves, just takes energy away from them being able to do a DM). You can switch stance to change basic attacks. I thought it was useless until I used it in a combo for an air juggle. All characters have a starting chain combo (it is outlined for each character on the move sticker) Most chain combos can be started after a jump in, after the chain combo you are pretty much on your own as far as what you want to do. chain Combo key strokes are done in direct succession with no breaks to wait for a move to finish. combo will play itself out when you are done.

My only gripe with the game is the guard crush meter is fairly useless. starts at 99 and decreases slowly with every attack. Usually by the time you crush a guard, the opponent recovers their meter before you can attack. I can only recall one time when I actually crushed an opponents guard and actually landed a hit.
