The yellow ribbons are taking over

I don't know about other states, but in MA (and almost all NH cars) 1 out of every 5 cars I see has the "yellow ribbon" magnet.

Is anyone else sick of these..

They're being sold as fundraising items.

So the ugly and tackiness should be overlooked for the more positive aspect of them.

(BTW - I do own one, but I'll be damned if I'm going to ugly up my nice Black Jeep with it.)

I wonder how many of these minivan-driving Wal-Martians who sport these on their vehicles also voted for GWB. It's a little like putting the cat out, and then being upset when you find it dead in the street later. You know, you voted to put those 19-year old kids in harm's way.

I've seen Alsheimers. Cancer Awareness, Pow MIA, and a fuckload of other ones.

I wouldnt mind a POW MIA one, but in general I'm not going to be guilted into buying something.

Are you sure all of them are? I honestly hope so. I know we sell support the troops ribbons at the Gas Station i work at, i wasn't aware any of the money was going to any organizations.

They are all over the Cars here....

It's actually something that gets stolen off of cars around here for some cheap ass reason.

I've seen a few places/people saying they were selling them as a fundraising items..
$5.00 each at the bowling alley
...................Walk down the street and the same damn Magnet is being sold by the ton in the Dollar Store.
Some even 2 for a dollar..

Every Dollar store around here has them...all kinds..
