Nope... check out EB... they ask for a $20 deposite on the PSP.

I meant Gamestops..

My PSP is paid in full at EB along with Mercury.

No Gamestop is taking PSP preorders at all to my knowledge. They usually would not at that cost.

This is a case of the store employees taking the preorder. It is not guaranteed. What they will do most likely is transfer that into a normal PSP preorder when they are available.

Unless there's something regional I don't know about.

Apparently "to my knowledge" comes into play here. While no one talked about it at all, apparently you can reserve one for $50.

Nevertheless, $50 seems hefty to me for a preorder.
