Whenever I "awaken" my PC from standby mode, it goes back to my desktop. I'd like to set it so that it will go back to the login screen. Can anyone tell me how I can do this?

Thanks in advance.

Go to your screensaver settings and click require authentication (password required).

I think that's what you mean?

I think all you have to do is set yourself up as a user and it will do this.

Do you have a user set up?

I think he's looking to lock it... depending on setup, it may not require a password.

That works, assuming there are more than one user setup on the machine and that it doesn't log in automatically to a single user.

So you need to make sure you do both of the above recommendations. ;)

All computer questions are stupid. Don't you know? You're supposed to know everything about computers if you're under 35.
