Tekken PCB pinout and wiring

Hi,

I recently picked up a Tekken PCB, and found that it had an auxiliary connextor, besides the Jamma one and needs an extra kick harness in order to get the 4 buttons working.

My question is, is it ok to wire a cable from the correspondant kick buttons from the auxiliary connector, to the main Jamma connector (pins corresponding to buttons 3 and 4 of a MVS) of the PCB, so that I can connect directly the Jamma harness and get the 4 buttons working?

Also, can anyone tell me which pins of the auxiliary harness correspond to the kick buttons?

Thanks,

Yes, you should be able to do that and have the 4 buttons working the same as MVS.
About the pin-out, you should look for a scan of the manual.

I have soldered them straight over to work on MVS setups... No problems.

A connector that works if you don't have the original one is an old ISA female conector, just saw it off to the correct length.
