For some reason, Javascript is being a bitch lately. Whenever I go into Gmail.com or anything that uses Javascript, I'm always told to enable it and when I check (on Firefox and IE) the settings say I have Javascript on.

I've updated my Norton Anti-Virus, it didn't find anything. I used Spybot - Search & Destroy 1.3. So far all I've done it still isn't helping the situation.

Any ideas on what else there is left to do?

Clear web cache?

I've never had this problem before, and I doubt it's caused by any installed software.

I didn't get anywhere else. I'll probably restart the computer a little later and see if that helps anything.

It's so weird, I think it has something to do with Windows XP SP 2.

Unless you JUST installed SP2, I wouldn't blame it.
Weird for SP2 to affect javascript too; I'm sure if it did, there would've been a fix out ages ago.

That stupid Windows firewall does funny shit. When I turned it off (I have Symantec Client Firewall so no big deal), the JavaScript started working again for a few minutes. Then it shut off again. This is such a weird situation.
