Strikers 1945/Phantom 1?

Hi. I know that this should be put into the sticky above, but I need this information. I sold my almost new Phantom-1 on E-Bay and the person that bought it wants to know why the game freezes up after about 2 minutes of play. I have not owned a Strikers before, so does this game work on the Phantom-1 blue version? Thanks for any help,

I used to own a Phantom1 and Strikers and I never had any problems...Maybe the cart slots in his system are too loose. Does he have any other MVS titles to try? If so do they play fine?

I sent an e-mail to them asking if the cart is a boot or original. The funny thing is, the user ID that bought the Phantom is septic38 from France, but the e-mails are coming from a user named uk_retro_games_centre from the UK? I have another e-mail to them to see who this is. Thanks for the reply Spike. The next e-mail that I send to them will be to confirm that their other games will or will not work with it. The Phantom has been play 5 times at most by me and I bought it straight from !ARCADE!, so I know that it is in perfect condition.

They should know that the thing will not work 100% in any setup...

The thing with me is that I have a big heart :( . I try to treat other people the way that I want to be treated. But this does have me currious as to who this person is that is having trouble.

That auction doesn't say "original" anywhere. When auctions don't, always assume it's a boot until the opposit has been proved.

I second that!!!!

And if it is a boot Strikers cart....well, then this is none of your problem!! I have that big heart problem too...but if they have a boot that doesn't work with your phantom...then it really ain't your problem.

I got a reply back and the Phantom plays their 19 other carts great. I suggested that they take the cart apart and check the boards to see if it is a boot.

Well, if 19 other carts play great, there's obviously nothing wrong with the Phantom-1. Also, if the buyer did any research at all, he'd know that the Phantom-1 isn't guaranteed to work with all games - it's an imperfect system, and that's the risk you take when using it.
