You're late! :D

Can't believe how long it's been since they taped it and when they showed it, though.

I still won't watch the show, though.

Anyone remember that movie directed by Robert Redford called Quiz Show?

It's about a Q&A Type show where the outcomes were controvercial and/or fixed to either maintain or reclaim public interest once a shows ratings begin to wane.....

Hmmmmm.....

Is there a report on the increase in Jeopardy viewership during this little sham?

Or was the majority of America still scrutinizing over the "real" outcomes of their "reality shows"?

Yeah I have been wondering about it...

Wasn't Jeopardy involved in a scandle regarding making questions easier for Female conestants?

Quiz Show was based on a true story...so Jeopardy was hardly imitating art...since art was imitating life in this instance.

The Show involved was called "21" and it occurred in the 50's.

How could they do that? The questions are addressed to all three contestants.

SUCCUMB3D.

i tried out for Jeopordy in Boston, i wore a suit and everything.

You have to fill out a form with five "funny" stories they can ask you about at the mock show if you make it that far. But first there was a fifty question test and you had to get 35 correct.

I failed, and though i don't know what i got, i tell myself it was close. I couldn't fucking remember the actor who plays Niles on Frasier? I was like wtf, i was studying the almanac.

Only thing I could think of would be possibly making the entry questions for even being on the show easier. But yeah the main show addresses everyone and is not very likely that something like that happens (unless it were for something like a Daily Double question)... :oh_no:

I really hope that Jeporady! goes back to the old rules, where the winning streaks were capped at five games, before this happens again. And for the record, ratings were up 22 percent during Supernerd's streak. :oh_no:

Which leads me to believe his winning streak was all an act to get ratings.

I still preferred Michael Larson's Press Your Luck marathon ass-kicking.

Hell yeah that pure pwnage. They didn't know what the hell was going on. Very clever of him to memorize the patterns.
