"Going to see Andy."

Player one: Hey man, let's go see Andy.

P2: You sure man?

P1: Hell yeah, man! Let's go see Andy!

P2: Alright man, let's do it!

P2 punches P1 in the gut so hard that P1 passes out.

can't really choose one, but if I had to, it would be Barney's Hide and Seek on Genesis.

It used to be Final Fantasy IV, but I finally got sick of it after beating it 14 times.

So I'd say either:

Star Ocean II
-or-
Galaga

tough question but i would prolly have to say ULTIMA ONLINE though it is well, well past its prime.

runners up include FFVI, Chrono Trigger and maybe Castlevania: SOTN.

Shenmue.

There's enough depth here to keep you busy for months.
*Exploring the various locales
*Playing Slot Machines
*Honing your Virtua Fighter-esque moves by practicing them over and over
*Playing Outrun, Hang On (After Burner in part two) and those QTE games
*Setting out to amass complete collections of gatcha toys
*Trying to access all the little event triggers (there are a lot of them too!)
*Having fun driving the forklifts

Lots to do, and all in the scope of one game!

Final Fantasy VII for me.

It's still the game that has given me my greatest gaming experience yet, and that's all that counts when I'm being strictly subjective.

Xenogears is still the best game ever made to me.

I don't know who you are but you are damn right
Xenogears is the only game ever has almost made me cying, a trip, an "experience" more than a videogame, the only RPG I completed more than 2 times

one of finest piece of artwork ever made

never understood the fascination with xenogears. yes there should be many many more sci fi mech rpgs but the game was just too boring and plain UGLY for me to get into.

2d sprites in a 3d world - no thank you. very few games have been able to pull this off well.

Best game of all time?

Can't quite put my finger on that.

Just like the movies. Every year more than one film is proclaimed "Number 1 Movie of The Year". The Highlander theory is impossible to apply.

It's damn near impossible to decide on ONE ABSOLUTE video game being the best of "All Time". At any given moment it could change depending on what mood you're in and what the game is doing for you.

At present for me it's a toss up between MGS 3: SE and KILLZONE. Both games do just about everything for me, with the exception of annoying me when I want to do particular things that isn't allowed in the games. Neither game will let you strip the dead of their gear and weapons, which makes no sense what-so-ever. *YEAH, I'm sure Snake wouldn't have sliced a dude's throat open, then stripped the dude of his uniform complete with hood and mask, + the dudes AK-47 upon encountering the very first grunt in the woods to where Sokolov was being kept.

Traditonally though I'd have to say...

Shock Troopers, I just never get tired of playing it.
