So, as you may know, I'm into FFSpecial a ton, but one thing I don't understand.

Are the throws giving off random damage? Does each throw weaken if used too many times? I'm using Jubei, and sometimes the forward/down C doesn't take as much off as others. I THINK it has something to do with the frequency of throws used during a match? Is that correct? Anyone know for sure?

Are you playing the computer? Usually towards the end of the CPU opponent's lifebar, especially on higher difficulty levels, the damage ratio on all things is a lot less.

Not just the computer, but I tried it on 2P match as well. The more you use Jubei's throws, the less powerful they become. I don't mean all throws, but if you keep using one throw, it loses strength each time. It's almost a proven fact at this point. Odd feature. Unless somebody here can prove me wrong, or correct me, that's what's happening. I noticed it when I was fighting Big Bear. he suplexed me, and again... but the second one wasn't as damaging. Maybe it's random, but I find it happens too often to be random. Same goes for supers. Each time you do it, it's weaker and weaker? Maybe it has to do with the enemy's life bar, too? I know some supers will do damn near 50%... and others it won't, but usually after you've connected it once in a fight.

that jubei avatar...meh

anyway,
it's something that happens in all the garou games

if you win a round

your opponent will have a sort of advantage in the second one

in the sense that not only throws but even specials, dms, sweeps, etc

will cause him less damage

everything goes back to normal in case he wins the 2nd round

yes,motw included

no,that's not random damage

not all the characters are the same

in garou den special a 5 hits combo with terry, andy or jubei

will stun the majority of the cast

but not geese or wolfgang krauser

just an example...

Indeed, and the easiest character to dizzy is Terry. Sometimes he falls with 4 jabs.

If you can hit the son of a bitch. (granted, I'm only talking about he computer here) The dumb jerk can pull off standing rising tackles all day long. Has invinciblity frames and comes out too damn fast.
