Neo Geo Arcade Red Dot on Screen

I was just wonder what a red dot on the screen means. It happens when the machine is plugged in. There is a game inside the machine so I don't know what else it can be.

I'm not sure on the red dot...I remember an old thread about it once but I can't find it..

Is this a dedicated Neo Geo MVS Arcade machine..or a conversion..?
Details:..How many slots ..what game is in it..


So your powering up the cab and all you see is a red dot on screen.?
Do you hear any music coming from the speakers...Does the Led lights in the control panel light up plus the coin door.?

With most cases I say check the fuses in the cab..

If It's a dedicated US cab it may have it's original Power supply..
Do you hear or see the fan running from the back of the cab..?

Could be a bad power supply..

But if you hear the game playing...but with just a red dot on screen then it's a monitor issue...Most likey a bad/blown out monitor.
