Neo-Geo.com’s dedicated server crashes almost every Sunday at 1:30 AM CST. This is the time when Hostway (our hosting company) does the site backup. They say that the forum database is so large that it causes the crash. Usually I’m around to bring the site backup, but I went to bed at 1 AM CST last night.
It’s high time we delete about 2/3 of all of our posts. Should fix the search engine and possible correct the weekly crash. Just will be difficult to decide what to keep. Or, could upgrade servers again, which would be the 7th or 8th time since this sites inception.
