Self-explanatory.

Today I accidentaly dusted off my snes, and instead of writing this term paper, due by monday, I found myself glued to the screen.

I`d forgotten entirely what a kick ass game it is. Nintendo`s tour de force.

I wouldn't call it the best, but 'one of the best' suits if fine. A very kickass game!
Waiting for the DS version.

Though Super Mario World is slightly superior (Yoshi's Island relied on too many gimmicks, adding up to more shallow, and at the same time easier, experience than it's predecessor), it's the last great platformer I can remember playing. The graphics (especially the LSD-trippy stages) are still impressive.

It's gone pretty underappreciated because it was released so late in the system's life. It's one of the few games I can re-play all the way though on a rainy Sunday and still enjoy (a list that includes Metal Gear Solid, Zelda III: A Link to the Past and Sonic Adventure).

Looming deadlines have the exact same effect on me. Anything to avoid the inevitable.

It's not plain & simple, I for one just don't like it.

I'm sure it's a very good game, however I find the mario baby on yoshi thing more of a pain than interesting game element.

Love it. Great game. I remember when it came out, Ultra Game Players magazine gave it a 76%, which made them the joke of the industry. I think it's one of the reasons that they went out of business. (Gamefan and EGM both ran articles making fun of them for giving such a great game such a low score.)
