I just picked up a Neo Driftout MVS cart on ebay

Anyway, I just received it today and it appears there's another sticker under the US label. I assume this was a Japanese cart Visco had leftover and made into a US version. The US label is Mint so I don't really want to open it up, and looking through the vents on the side the visible chips are solid ROM's. I just didn't know how common it was to see a US label with a Japanese warning sticker. I believe a few other members have reported this before, but I just wanted to check.

BTW, the cart is in very good shape and the artset is original. I've been looking for a good deal on this game for a while and I'm glad I held out as they don't get much nicer than this, especially for the price :)

It is somewhat common to find. I have a Ragnagard kit with a Savage Reign sticker under the box label and a Ninja Master's label under the cart label. Obivously a relabel of extra carts since Ninja Master's and Savage Reign weren't big sellers and both were released before Ragnagard.

I know some people think it's fake or a label swap, but who would be stupid enough to do that to make the cart more attractive to buyers but without removing the original.?

Thanks for the reply Dean, I know I remembered hearing something of that extent some time back but just wanted to check.

The Driftout cart is in awesome shape and came with a very nice artset and shockbox, I'm quite happy with the purchase :D
