Neo Driftout with minty US label and JPN gold warning sticker?

I just picked up a Neo Driftout MVS cart on ebay

Anyway, I just received it today and it appears there's another sticker under the US label. I assume this was a Japanese cart Visco had leftover and made into a US version. The US label is Mint so I don't really want to open it up, and looking through the vents on the side the visible chips are solid ROM's. I just didn't know how common it was to see a US label with a Japanese warning sticker. I believe a few other members have reported this before, but I just wanted to check.

BTW, the cart is in very good shape and the artset is original. I've been looking for a good deal on this game for a while and I'm glad I held out as they don't get much nicer than this, especially for the price

It is somewhat common to find. I have a Ragnagard kit with a Savage Reign sticker under the box label and a Ninja Master's label under the cart label. Obivously a relabel of extra carts since Ninja Master's and Savage Reign weren't big sellers and both were released before Ragnagard.

I know some people think it's fake or a label swap, but who would be stupid enough to do that to make the cart more attractive to buyers but without removing the original.?

The Driftout cart is in awesome shape and came with a very nice artset and shockbox, I'm quite happy with the purchase
