Issue 1 of Edge magazine

Just wondering if the very first issue of this magazine is worth much?

heh..I still remeber when I got first issue long ago thanks to an import shop in my hometown
I don't think is worth that much, last I've seen on ebay UK sold for 30 squid about 1 year ago

people who hates EDGE is basically people who used to love it but then got disappointed
I don't hate it, It's still a good reading and far away from all the crap for retarded kids, but they honestily fucked it up

as of late PLAY has highly outclassed edge......IMO

I think you're right, Edge really has got quite boring recently, maybe it's the new writers or maybe it's merely indicative of how dull the gaming industry has become with the decline of the arcade industry.

The only thing I read it in still are the reviews and the biffovision column...

I've never read PLAY, maybe I should pick it up.

Yeah i agree with Kaos says, I used to love it, now........well.

I think I was too young when I loved it to understand their rhetoric on some things, it became apparent with their supposed Sega hating.

Nice mag tho in terms of gloss/pictures etc.

i bought the first 13 issues of edge with the box binder for £30 so i dont think its worth a huge amount, its just cool to look at some of the old games getting reviewed and remembering what they were like to play, could have done with a lot more neo reviews in it though
