I got this game 2 nights ago....
Pretty Good!
Think of it as Dynasty Warriors 4 meets Socom.... then crank down the difficulty about 3 notches and add a splash of star wars.
The graphics are OK... pretty good, actually. I was impressed a few times, but others.. well, starwars is old hat and you've gotta really do it right to impress.
There are slowdown issues, especially in split screen. My buddy and I beat the Civil War campaign last night and it suffers from a lot of action. Especially in high-traffic areas... to the point where I'd snipe a guy and 2 seconds later, the gun would fire and he would drop.
The AI is good. There are a lot of cheap deaths, but that's because it's a WAR! It's cool though, as the AI was definitely dev'd by gamers... the AI camps and snipes!
It's stupid in spots, though. A few times on Hoth, the AI just sat there and waited.
The missions are hard. Nothing impossible, but it's a challenge. It's not DW4 by any means, but you won't breeze through the Historical Campaigns.
That's about it for now.. I'll post further impressions later. Anyone else playing this?
