To anyone who still follows the gundam saga and has seen all of gundam seed can you explain to me why there are two Lacus Clyne all of a sudden in gundam seed destiny which is a continuing story of gundam seed.

Gundam SEED made me not follow the many Gundam sagas anymore. A sequel to it? Lol, time to rip off of Zeta eh?

Yeah there a sequel which is airing in japan right now. Gundam seed was not that bad why do you have so much hate for it? Maybe its just me because I have only seen like 4 other gundam sagas.

Because SEED is angsty for a Gundam series, which is about double the angst of most of anime as it is.

And you know we have an anime thread for this kind of thing right?

The lst Gundams eries before SEED was Turn A, which forgoe overflashy mecha designs and horridly obvious plot directions in favor of a structure more novel-like. Hence, Turn A was intelligent, had very well developed characters, and was very adult.

However, while this did great for DVD sales, the tv ratings weren't very good.

So Sunrise once again took Gundam away form its creator Tomino, but sadly they didn't have talent behind it this time, and the director they chose basically just wanted to make the original Gundam all over again. And that he did, except with super-angsty characters.

to answer your question, the rumor was that the other lacus is supposably a double stand-in for the real lacus. it's similar to princess amidala having a double in star wars.

other crap going around is that neo (char/zechs/la krueze dude) is a perfect clone of la fllaga and la krueze.
