I'm having alot of trouble pulling off Iori Yagami's Ura 306 Shiki: Saika performed as qcf, qcf, qcf, qcf + AB.

Is this a follow on move or what? Can someone please explain how to perform this move.

Saika is the follow-up to Iori's Yaotome (qcf, qcb+P), and it is A+C, not A+B.

No, I'm still having problems with it, I'm unsure when to pull of the (4X) qcf + AC, or if i'm doing it too fast or too slow.

Also, what's with Iori's Exceed. He goes into Riot of Blood then nothing happens.

I'm sure this is all common knowledge but I'm fairly new to the game.

Keep practicing, eventually you will master Saika.

Regarding his Exceed, if I remember correctly, you have to perform it very close to your opponent.

Iori's Exceed is a counter type move; it only activates when you get hit by your opponent while in the Riot state.

as for Saika, i'm not sure of the exact timing, but i start mashing qcf and LP+SP five or six hits into the Yaotome. I only get it about half the time.

Hmmm, I guess I should be either grappling this Desperation by the balls, or completely Phucking it up. Well, I'm Phucking it up.. :buttrock:

You're not alone. I've tried to do this move countless times, with infinate frustration without success.

In fact the only time I was able to do this move was with KOF2k1, and go figure, Iori was so close to the right edge of the screen when it did happen, his flames were off the screen so I never saw it. :very_ang:

This move is a follow-up so u need to be in max mode or have 2 bars, there are to ways to execute this super, do constant qcf's during the super then do one more while he's in the final attack and press A + B or do 4 qcf's + A + B during the final attack.

look for the grab animation when the flames explode. you can get away with constant qcf motions if need be, just make sure you press AC right within that small frame window.

There is no "Max" mode in SNK vs Capcom, and you really don't need to be in this mode to perform it in any other game really.

As a side note, it's A+C

NOT A+B

- You can also try performing several qcf's and pressing A+C multiple times to get it right. Eventually you will get the timing right.

regardless, the saika followup uses no meter, so you only need 1 stock to do both parts of the super.

oh and you're still a fucking troll.

Thanks man, you're right. It needs to be performed within the grab animation. I can now perform it about 40% of the time but I'm sure I'll improve.

Damn, it is a wicked desperation when combined with the Saika. Iori is easily becoming my favourite fighter! :buttrock:
