well, I have been thinking of making a table top arcade system with a simple 13" monitor etc...

but, I am not really sure about the steps to setting up a monitor in a cab. I have two cabs, but the neo and the one I fixed up both had the monitors set up already so I really didn't have to deal with it.

So it comes with everything ready for mounting...

I know the sync, video ground, R,G, and B....from the harness...and well....

that's about where it ends....

SO, what else do I need to do?

thanks!

Usually there is no set up required.
If there are purity errors you may need a degaussing wand to fix it, otherwise dont mess with the convergence/purity magnets on the crt neck, its likely to go from bad to worse if you dont know what your doing.

Make sure the aquadag strap (thats the braided strap with springs tensioners holding it to the rear grayish graphite surface of the crt) is grounded, if not you may get serious arcing and a whole lot more grief. This is very important. :spock:

thanks! I will make sure to keep an eye out for that. Don't have my monitor yet, but should soon.
