Sup peeps,

I was playin GG #reload against some kid last night that claimed that he had a legit copy of KoF00 eng. I know that this the most controversial game in the neo library, but is there a way to prove that someone owns a non NeoFreaked version of the game or do you think the guy was full of shit? I mean, there where actual, non freak copies before that web site got em, so is it possible that some went untouched?

Well they were all freaked because only NGF released them from what I heard. They all have the NGF web address on the back. But SNK admitted that it was an official release so for what it's worth it is official. But most won't consider it that.

from what I've heard these releases were sent to ngf directly from SNK, in turn they switched the insert with there own and either destroyed the originals or put them in storage.
Which would most likely mean that dion and chris are the only dudes on earth who own a original eng kof 2000. =(

The cart is official but "tainted" due to SNK printing the NGF url on the back of the insert and manuel since ngf wanted them to. There are no "untainted" (meaning no NGF URL's) carts in existence. This has been confirmed by SNK themselves.
Nice cart but I would only pick it up on the cheap.

The only "official" KOF 2000 AES inserts are those with the NGF url on the back of them. This is the only way they were printed. Sorry, but your buddy is a bullshit lie - nothing personal. :)

The NGF copies are legit, no matter what hellstorm may follow this post.

I dont, and would not own one, but SNK themselves via the lawsuit confirmed they were legit.
