FULLY MODDED AES Systems
Price dropped to $250 shipped each! YOU WILL NOT BEAT THAT PRICE FOR A FULLY MODDED AES ANYWHERE.

OK, here are the basics of what each system incorporates:

- S-Video modification with gold jack
- RCA outputs for composite video and stereo sound (wired to headphones)
- Socketed Unibios 2.0!! All 3 units have a new, straight from Razoola Unibios 2.0!
- SUPER bright reset LED. I mean BRIGHT.

Each system is japanese and comes with either the original or a compatible power supply (see details below) and a fully tested and working controller. No AV cables included with the systems, but you'd probably either have a set at home or want to buy a nice S-Video cable to go with it (and that's more personal taste).

Details (probably need to cut and paste the image links into your browser, or view them here ):

Red LED system - $250 shipped
- Serial 054023 (label bent a bit)
- Slight logo fading on the console, minor scratches/scuffs
- Neo CD power supply adapted for use on the home system (proper 5V supply)
- Old style controller: minor logo fade, typical cracked ball, minor scratches/scuffs

Green LED system - $250 shipped
- Serial 167409
- Very crisp logo on console, minor scratches/scuffs
- original and correct Neo PSU
- Old style controller: minor logo fade, typical cracked ball, minor scratches/scuffs

Blue LED system - $250 shipped
- Serial 115206
- Very crisp logo on console, very minor scratches/scuffs
- original and correct Neo PSU
- Newer style Pro controller: no logo fade, minor scratches/scuffs

* I should note that the power switch is a bit tight, but works perfectly fine. I've looked at it several times and can't see why it's tight, but it's related to the plastic piece and not the switch itself, so no worries about it breaking.

If interested, please PM or e-mail me.
I accept money orders and PayPal (balance transfer or credit cards).

Shipping price includes Priority mail shipping with insurance and tracking.

Hi Dean,

Quick question..

Where did you get those spanky potentiometers from? Are they 100k ohms?

Thanks

Jameco, 500 ohm..... pretty standard. You definitely don't want more than 500 ohm since even 200 ohm will pretty much cut the signal to nothing. These work nicely ;)

I see you do some nice work there....Tell me is it possible to turn a stock AES into a MVS by changing out the cart slot? If so let me know I may have a job for you.

It's possible, but not something I'm doing at the moment. Would be a LOT of work and I'm concerned about compatibility with different MVS carts (like the Phantom-1 issues). Better yet would be to put a MV-1C into an AES shell, but I don't think the fit would be that good. Besides, you'd have to find a dead AES to grab the shell from.

Kenny Did it.... The only problems were the fact that the heat sink wouldn't fit and the fact that he used metal joyports..... The heatsink could always be desoldered or cut down.

I have been thinking about doing one of these projects for a while.... But I encourage others to try it... I have half decent shell but lack the $$ for a MV1-C

Using photobucket to host your photos might be a good idea :birfday:

No, that's not is dumbass. I mistakenly deleted the files on my site. The images are linked to my new website that is not a free host site:
www.multimods.com

Ugh. Gotta fix it now.

EDIT: Fixed images. AES ones need to be cut and paste for now.
