but i believe it deserves its own theread now

several vs matches for games like kof nw,2002,vampire saviour,ssvs,etc

Yes, I checked the matches with your previous link and I was simply amazed by the density of the matches. Simply unbelievable.

It probably sounds stupid but those videos are the reason I just recently bought this game.This game is fun as hell but I have one question, when playing against the CPU is there a way to put more time then 45 seconds? I want the matches to last longer.

i urge everyone to dl the Flying Power Disc vids. I was laughing in amazement, and they definitely have that OH SHIT factor.

proof again that simple videogaming concepts equal more fun, especially against a human opponent.

It doesn't sound stupid at all
FPD is possibly one of my fave game EVER, the only neo game I have multiple copies of.
IMHO It's the most addicting multiplayer game ever made along with bomberman, way more than any fighters so far

It doesn't look that great from the video - kinda simple and repetitive, but I've never played it.

I guess it's like sega beach volleyball, where it's really simple, but just great to play.

Meh, low level on those windjammer players. They don't alternate their tactics and don't use the most devious shots there is, diagonal curve shots that staightens out before hitting the sides. Besides they're using too few counters, those things really speed things up.

True, that game is easy to pick up and after an hour or two you can start to do some pretty slick things. Quite funny to do five or six specials back and fourth too. :)

One last word, RAKETENBALL!

I enjoy watching the Wind Jammer videos. I still feel WJ/FPD is the most under rated,Neo-Geo title out there.

PS:I wish some body could make a squeal to WJ.

Windjammers is a suberb title, and was one of the first games I went looking for when I got a Neo Geo.

Thr timer can not be altered as far as I know which is shame as the matches are simply to short for my liking.

Well if you use the unibios there are three great cheats you can use, unlimited time, p1 always score zero and p2 always score zero. Tah da, infite matches.

Oh no, I missed them... :blow_top: I've wanted to see what high level WindJammers matches look like for years :(. Please could someone re-post these (not on Rapidshare.de or Megaupload pls) on something like Yousendit or something?

Alright, me and my brother are getting ok/verging on bounds of good at windjammers, we have figured alllll the moves apart from that damn supersonic shot!
Someone PLEASE tell me how to do this every time :)

If you mean that fast return throw, the best I can figure is you have to throw the disc as soon as you catch it...
