The character sprites look ok, but the backgrounds seem empty. Even though in 96 they were bare, they still looked better than that.

god those hi res sprites look ugly as sin. Why the fuck would you want to remake a game like 94 anyway? Near every damn combo is a redizzy

Good thing they are including the original 94 too. If it looks like that even on the final version, I guess the only saving grace is the original 94 which has never been ported to other consoles.

Also a lot of Japanese guys I have talked to here still think KOF 94 was one of the best if not the best KOF SNK ever made.

Those sprites are ugly as sin! I don't think Playmore gets it. We want nice looking stylish sprites at high res. Not Old sprites smoothed out. They could have really had something if it was "Guilty Gear"-esque quality. Doesn't really matter though. I'll still buy it because I'm a big SNK fanboy.
