How Can We Get More Inserts?

after buying a bunch of shockboxes i noticed we are missing ALOT of inserts. Common games such as ninja combat, art of fighting, and miracle adventure are nowhere to be found.

i am not exactly sure how the whole process works, but how do we get these inserts? is it as simple as getting aes collectors to scan there inserts for us? or is it more difficult that that?

if i had known this i would have scanned all my aes games before i sold them. i think it would be really nice to have some choices here, like being able to choose a usa art of fighting insert, or a jp one.

i just want to know if there is some way i can help out here. i am not interested in making home made inserts myself, but i would like to be able to help out the community in some way. possibly by finding collectors and getting them to scan these inserts for us. maybe if i posted a thread some people would help out. we have all the expensive games anyway.

if this is possible where would i have to send these inserts when i get them?

Good quality scans go along way for a nice insert that doesn't take a long time to make. Most of the grunt work goes into cleaning up lower quality artwork...

So yeah if you can get good scans that helps. But really there is "some" insert available for almost every game except for the magjong and quiz games (and NeoCverA looks to be offering them soon)...

What are you needing in particular?

I have original inserts for most of the stuff we'll need. i just need to purchase mor ram because Photoshop is crashing my system and my A# full page scanner broke on me after only 10 months. I should have the ram sometime this week and then I will kick start my thread again. I have no real desire or intentions to create JPN inserts.

I'm too lazy to download each insert one by one, would it be possible for you just to zip the whole archive for people to download?

i may be speaking for myself here, but i am always more than glad to contribute money as long as other members are also. you shouldn't have to do all the work and buy all the shit, and then we just download all this for free. i think if you posted and asked all the fellow mvs collectors we could scrape together enough to at least help. i mean, what the hell, $5 or $10 is no big deal for a few people to donate.

also, i think it is pretty pointless to get all the jp inserts. but some of the inserts are must have. for example, i noticed you got the jp fatal fury front and the rest is english. that was the way to go. i think we really need a jp art of fighting front insert with the usa back cover and spine. that is in my opinion one of the best inserts in the neo library, and one of the few that is actually different than the english one, which by the way is horrible.

is there anyway i could persuade you to make this insert?

i really just want miracle adventure and some sort of art of fighting 1 insert with a jp front. maybe i am just missing these inserts. the only sites i know of to get inserts are craze arcade, neogeoforlife, and nick's website.

just checked out that link. i never knew about classic shock. guess thats helps alot.

That would be considered a reasonable request and one that I would be happy to oblige as soon as I get these PC troubles straightened out. The Gremlins are working overtime as I can just be surfing this site and my will cpu will randomly reset itself
I appreciate the offer of donations but that won't be necessary. My next image will be Metal Slug 4 and then I'll look into that AOF one. the level of quality and this project will continue to 'step up', trust me.
