TEAM AMERICA: ~World Police~

I just got back from seeing this flick and I gotta' say I haven't laughed this hard since the "Atlanta Grape Lady Video" {See my sig last link}, only I damn near pissed my pants with this flick. Going into it I knew it was a salute to all of the 60-80s SUPERMARIONATION of Gerry and Sylvia Anderson, and that it was going to be "Controversial"... but I never expected it to be as funny as it was.

TA-Lisa.jpg

The Sex scene with this bitch ^ LISA {above} had been talked about, but nothing prepared me enough for the whole onslaught of Kama Sutra antics with the damned puppets! ---Made funnier for Thunder Birds fans who will see she looks an awful lot like Lady Penelope getting turned out every which way but loose.

This movie is WRONG on so many levels I don't know where to begin, but I'd advise anyone who hasn't seen it to go out and see it immediately. The shit is that good. *ESPECIALLY their "Theme Song" ---"America, FUCK YEAH!" I'm wondering just how good it will do at the box office of course with it's complete slam against the faggots in Hollywood who always voice their unwanted opinons on the public, and the low pulse weenies that generally do whatever their fave stars do. This movie is worth the price of admission and it sets itself up for a sequel which I hope they do. I give it an 8.5 on the scale of 1-10. What did the rest of you think???

"You're the new guy, so you gotta' suck my cock!"
{People who saw the movie will get this joke}

BEST FILM OF THE YEAR!

I saw it last night at around midnight. I had a good buzz going so needless to say I was laughing pretty hard throughout. Good movie.

lol I saw it today...sooo much better than I thought it would be!

I swear, this movie has the best fucking songs! From "America, Fuck Yeah!" (both the hard and soft versions), to the AIDS song, to the anti-Pearl Harbor song to the Montage song...great stuff. The puppet sex was hilarious and I completely lost it with Garys vomit scene.

From the Hollywood FAGs to the un-needed destruction in the name of freedom and liberation, it touched all bases.

I give it a solid 4 outta 5 "Fuck Yeahs!" :P

The cost of freedom: $1.05 :tickled:

Great movie. If you stayed all the way to the end of the credits, there was another song by Kim Jong where he rags Alec Baldwin even more.

WORD. *I thought I was going to get ejected out of the cinema because I just laughed and laughed, and laughed some more even after the scene was over. The set up for it was just great. ---Kind of worried though, at the showing I went to {5:10PM} there was only about 20 ppl total. Some seemed a bit uneasy being in there, especially after the XXX Rated Puppet Sex scene... which would not have been pulled off "Live Action" but with puppets I guess it's different.

I really hope the film does well as it's at heart got a message, but due to all the controversy and all of the fun made directed at the hollywood actors with swelled heads who think their shit don't stink, this might only ever be a cult classic instead of something that could span a few more flicks of laughter beind serious issues.

I don't know about it being the best film of the year, but it did have some choice moments, especially the alley scene.

America, FUCK YEA! I saw this last night and I must say, I loved every aspect of it! The music was great (considering it was composed by Harry Gregson-Williams) and I just loved how they did the action scenes, and how they made fun of the actors. It would have been tight if they made fun of Samuel Jackson more!

Yeah I hear you on that bro. *Just got back from taking my Dad to see that. I don't think I've seen my father laugh so much in the last decade as he did during the film. This film is just Sick... anyone who doesn't find this film a riot has got a serious stick up their ass preventing them from anything but grunting. With the reviews I've been reading {and at today's screening I went to 14 ppl got up and left before it ended} I seriously doubt my hopes of a sequel will ever see the light of day. This movie proves that people still can only tolerate a certain level of idiocy and frankness.

I was too busy laughing to see if anyone walked out. I'm seeing it again this week and will pay attention to that. Would LOVE to see a sequel, but from the sounds of the interviews with trey parker and matt stone...NEVER GONNA HAPPEN. :oh_no:

Well then just as Gerry Anderson sold off his Marionettes and vehicles from Thunder Birds and Captain Scarlet, I hope some of what was not blown up from TEAM AMERICA end up for auction on EBAY. I'd like to have the T.A. Humvee, the Spotswoode marionette and the Lisa marionette. That shit be the bomb to have next to my TAKARA Scopedog models and JIN-ROH KERBEROS PANZER COPS Dragon Models.

I can't wait to buy the soundtrack to this film... I'm going to BOOM America, FUCK YEAH! up and down main thorough fares all over SATX with some of my beer drinking "BSA" droogs. That shit should be played right after the Star Spangled Banner at ball games and the Olympics. ---Just got back from seeing it for the 10th time with some friends who had yet to see it. Kind of surprised to see my thread bumped up.

Laterz Amigo...

Finally saw it. It was a blast (still not was amazing as South Park the Movie was, though...)

[spoilers and stuff below]

That last song (at the end of the credits) was daffy, I kind of wished they'd made a scene around it. I also dug the one song they didn't write for the movie: the use of the Kill Bill v.1 song (I forgot the name).

Did anyone notice the line in the full version of "America... Fuck Yeah!" where they start going: "Baseball/FUCK YEAH! ... NFL/FUCK YEAH! ... Slavery/FUCK YEAH!" :p

The interesting thing about this movie is that the humor against the left-wing characiture was more overt but the stuff about the right-wing stuff was far more of a slow, sustained thing.

All fun.

We're dicks! We're reckless, arrogant, stupid dicks. And the Film Actors Guild are pussies. And Kim Jong Il is an asshole. Pussies dont like dicks because pussies get fucked by dicks. But dicks also fuck assholes. Assholes that just want to shit on everything. Pussies may think they can deal with assholes their way. But the only thing that can fuck a asshole is a dick, with some balls. The problem with dicks is they fuck too much or fuck when it isn't appropriate. And it takes a pussy to show them that. But sometimes pussies can be so full of shit that they become assholes themselves. Because pussies are a inch and half away from assholes. I don't know much about this crazy crazy world, but I do know this. If you don't let us fuck this asshole we're going to have our dicks and pussies all covered in shit.
I was dying during this part
