Hi all,

I'm at work right now, so I'm just going to redirect you to a link where I posted my system up for sale.

Take a look please!

Oh yeah,

If my asking price is not realistic, make me an offer!

Thanks!

You may want to bring that price down a bit. I have seen boxed CDZ's with 10 games sell for $300.00. $500.00 is a little too much. If you bring it down, I may be interested.

Hi,

Part of the reason I'm asking that price is due to the arcade sized joystick in the picture. That joystick alone cost me $100. But yes, as I posted later, the price is negotiable, and I don't want to be asking for a price that is a farcry from the market rate for it.

However, if you are interested in it, send me a private e-mail and make an offer.

I know where you are coming from though! I bought my CDZ in NYC back in 1995 and it cost either $599.99 or $499.99 back then and then with games and extra pads it ran a lot. I will PM ya! Thanks!

BTW,

Compare my deal with this completed e-bay auction.

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3002856065&category=187" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3002856065&category=187</a>

Or this one:

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3004590483&category=4315" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3004590483&category=4315</a>

So, I can see why the $500 is a little too much.

But, certainly, $300 is too little, since the two above completed auctions didn't have the ARCADE-SIZED joystick that I got.

Also, I want perspective buyers to know that while moving, I accidently bumped the left front corner of the arcade joystick. As it is particle wood, it chipped a little. The joystick is fine, just doesn't look pretty on the left front. You can kind of see it in the picture.

I just wanna throw that out there so people don't think I'm hiding something :)

depends on the games... and if they are complete....
if they are crappy games, yes.

Here's the original post on the other forum.

What do you guys think is a reasonable price? I barely played with the system.

Thanks,

David

NeoGeo CDZ System

Here is what I have:
· The NeoGeo CDZ System, near mint condition, still in original box with all the parts (the player, one game pad, etc). Bought it in 1994. (CD'Z' = 2x CD speed; as opposed to the single speed system)

· 1 Arcade-Sized Joystick Controller
· 1 NeoGeo Joystick Controller, near mint, still in original box.

·Six games:
o King of Fighters ’95
o Samurai Showdown II
o Samurai Showdown III
o Samurai Showdown IV
o Metal Slug 2
o Last Blade II

· I am the original owner of everything above except for the Samurai Showdown II CD.
· For everything above, I paid around $1000.

Everything must be sold together.

I don't know.... The CDZ if boxed and mint with controller(cd pad), manual... is at least for $200-260 IMO.... depending on the conditions of everything.

But you have some good games in your stash.. MS2... Last blade... and some others. MS2 goes for $60-80 generally, Last blade goes for $40+ generally. That CD Pro joystick you have BOXED in mint with all styrofoam & baggies would go $35-45 generally on Ebay....

I don't know what that other stick is worth.. I am sure you paid good on it.. but... you estimate might not be that bad.... maybe $400.00 +.... maybe I am wrong.

Thanks BlueVoodoo!

I will keep that in mind.

Just got married, so ye-olde-wife is making me get rid of my toys. She makes up for it :D

However, I am not going to throw it away for less than what it's worth.

If I can't sell it even on this forum, all the more justification to keep it huh? :D

400 - 450 would probably be fair...

65 for ms2
40 for lb
250 for system
40 for boxed controller
75 for mas systems controller

plus the other misc. games. But if I were you, I'd break it up - you're sure to get more thataway.

Okay,

The reason I haven't broken it up is because I don't wanna be stuck with a MAS controller without the system or vice versa.

But, if anyone is just interested in the games, I can entertain offers.

I'm willing to part with:

Metal Slug 2 CD for $70 plus actual shipping.
Last Blade II for $40 plus actual shipping.
MAS controller for $75 plus actual shipping.

The other stuff I still wanna sell together because if I don't wind up selling the system, those were the games I bought the system for.

PM me if you are interested in some of the parts.

could you post which games have spines and the general condition of the cd's

and to note i bought a cdz from a board member for 430 shipped to the uk and it had 18 games :)

Sure.

The condition of all the CD's I have besides Samurai Showdown II are 9.5 on a scale of 10.

The Samurai Showdown II I got used from e-bay.

I played with Metal Slug II and Last Blade II no more than 10 times each. Hence my willingness sell them separately.

The CDs are not scratched or beat up. They are in fairly nice shape since I hardly touched them.

As for the spine from the packaging, I'd have to look when I get home. I usually stick them in the pamphlet inside the case or throw it away.

You can check out the pictures from the link above...I keep my things in VERY nice conditions because I'm anal....

Hi Buster,

Not knowing the condition of the stuff you got for $430, it still sounded like a great deal. Most of my stuff are near mint in condition because I rarely play with them.

Also, as said by others, most of what you are paying for with me because things in nice condition, is that ARCADE-SIZED MAS CONTROLLER and having good games.

18 games sounds great, but if they are not good games, would it matter?

If someone is in the Seattle area and like to take a look before they make an offer, let me know.

buster broon, that was a STEAL of a deal. The games themselves are worth over 200 easy. You can't expect everybody to get that good of a deal lol
