KOF2k1 slowdown

I got the JAP PS2 version of KOF2k1 on PS2 but lately I've realized that some of the striker setups n shit id use cant work or dont link.

My team is Benimaru, Heidern, K9999 and Terry.

Here's a common one I'd use at the arcade: Usually I'd call in Heidern, then call in Terry and then K9999 4 the wire whip. Then I'd finish of with a one of Beni's Supers. *Sometimes i may not use Heidern thoe*

But now either Terry or K9999 fucks up. Help plz.

BTW: My PS2 is PAL but has mod chip installed so that mite cause the slowdown but i doubt it.

Is that useful for competitive play!?

nah, more 4 just aesthetics. but it's come in useful a whole bunch of times
