Their review was alot more forgiving than mine would have been.
I've had more fun at the dentist office than playing that game.

Oh brother, it seems like some of you are ex IGN staff members. This is a great arcade game and it's a light game, not the next FF game. It's a simple gun game just like every other one of Namco's shooters are (this being the bes by far). It's not some epic RPG, it's a short gun game that was awesome in the arcades and even better on the PS2. Next I'll hear folks complaining that Guilty Gear is too short and should have had an expansive 50 hours of gameplay.

From what I have played of the arcade version (which is to say about ten minutes of it) I like time crisis 3 better. Did crisis zone come out before TC3?

Yah, crisis zone came out a long time before time crisis 3.

I have to agree with the reviewer mostly though. The game is short, even for a time crisis game. And I do plan on getting it, because I'm a total fanboy of the series (as I suspect the person who started this topic is), but I feel, for the average gamer, this review is pretty much spot on.

Yeah I will be getting this. Maby not for fifty bucks though. I love the time crisis games. I wish they would remake the first one or at least make it guncon 2 compatible. TC1>TC3>TC2 :buttrock:

Oh shit. Crisis Zone was ported to ps2?? I can't believe I missed it. This game is awesome. I've played it about 5 times in the arcade. I'll have to hunt down a copy.

Feh everything in the review is true. Plus what gun can you play on on the PS2? If its not a rattling machine gun there goes half the arcade experience right away. The game is short, TC games have always been kinda easy, and it is fun to shoot stuff. So why do you like this game when it clearly shows that IGN arne't the only ones not fond of it.

Though I dont agree with the IGN review score (I have the PAL version of the game which came out a few weeks ago and its great fun to play and has plenty of challenging extra missions), I did get a few chuckles out of the review - especially when he starts going off on one about how the game is 5 years old and how little it has changed.

Sounded to me like he was just sick of lightgun games and this one drove him over the edge.

Very amusing to read, but not really a helpfull review.

You use the Guncon 2 (the best and most accurate gun on the market). It doesn't have recoil, but if you want to buy some crappy imatation that has recoil, be my guest. The game is meant to be a blow through title. You have a freaking machine gun for goodness sakes. It's amazing to just plow through things, but I seem to forget some of you like "suck mode" in here. Maybe they should have had a "one bullet every 10 seconds" option, that way the game would be harder and suck. Yea, there we go, just shoot one bullet every ten seconds, and you'll have your hard game chump.

Wow, this guy's review has got to be one of the least intelligent reviews I have ever read on a website like this. So many IGNorant comments like "Let's shoot stuff and watch it break...for 30 minutes. Hahaha! No" or the part about still being able to win even if he was sitting on the surface of the sun. I lost count of the number of times he mentioned that the game is five years old, as if being 5 years old really matters. What the hell? I enjoy playing this game today as much as I did years ago.

Also, did anyone else get pissed when he said, "After five frickin' years we should start wondering ... why every Namco shooting game ever made isn't included on this disc just because that's what has to happen at this point." Yeah, that guy can definately go screw himself.
