i need help guys!
the other day i moved one of the cabs, and the back fell off cracking the bulb? on back of the monitor. the monitor is/was the origional 25inch wells gardner from 89. the cab is a dedicated tmnt cab converted to cps2.

so now guys what are my monitor options? where do i get one? and do they come with everything needed?

i own a few cabs but ive never had to deal with a monitor before so any extra tips, advice, and things to watch for would be great too.

i would take a trip to the local paw shop , find an old tv of the same tube size and swap the tube out from the tv to the game , i have bought as many as three tv's for as little as 10 dollars , pm me if you want detailed instructions on doing a tube swap :buttrock:

LMAO that works? ive heard the horror stories of monitors, a tube change has me nervous. i take it the broken one is discharged since it made all kinds of noise when it broke, kind of like air comming out of a tire.

edit: it was hit pretty hard do you really think all it needs is a tube? i dont see anything else damaged but i dont really know what im doing ;)

the model # is 25k7131

120v 60hz 100watt max

i took a look at wells gardner's site and im lost :help:

Yeah that works. You might be able to get a tube if you take it to a TV repair shop and ask them to cross reference the numbers on the tube. It's not just as simple as having a tube that's the same size though.

The tube was a vacuum inside so that's why you've get the sound of escaping air. Did the neck board get damaged or the chassis (circuit board with all the wiring going to and from the monitor)?
