Anyone seen the movie '25th Hour'?

I watched this last night, and it was so good, it totally knocked me off my ass.

Edward Norton puts in another superb performance, and is supported by a great supporting cast, especially Brian Cox.


The ending is absolutely briliiant and unexpected. Though it has some very strong scenes, it's a very positive , uplifting movie. Check it out.

I liked it.

Spike Lee is really, really hit-and-miss, but I find that when he's hitting (Do the Right Thing, He Got Game, Malcolm X), he's one of the top directors working. 25th Hour I felt was a nice return to form for him, after the disastrously miscalculated Bamboozled (Black-face and minstrel shows is a symbol of such intense hatred that it absorbs and dominates any attempt at satire -- the audience can do nothing but react in disgust).

Too bad the word on She Hate Me is that its crap.
