This guy Scammed me to posted him a neo geo Japanese aes cart ultimate 11 cost US$500, I posted the cart on 27/8/2004 by EMS, it is arrived on two days later 31/8/2004 . After that I haven't got any money.Until... 19/9/2004 he send a private message to me to say he had go to hospital three weeks before and he say he need to pay the bill for living and "NOT ENOUGH MONEY" to paid to me...he psomise me he will paid me money later .......I think he don't want to paid me money and go away..... so he tell lies to scammed my money and trust ....

If anyone can find him to help me get my money back I can give the bonus

If he says he'll pay you later just tell him to send your game back, of course he's likely a scammer so that's unlikely, where does he live? If I remember right its New York, maybe a member can find him.

If it's really him (Tam Tam) I thought about driving to his place and kicking his door down and demanding my money back, but I think that would only get me in trouble with the cops.

I'm going to try to find out if this scam is possible mail fraud.
Since I live near him I could file mail fraud against him, but neogeohk is in hong kong and out of the usa, can he still file it as well?

Ok I found a form for mail fraud complaint but it's for US postal service only.
Not sure if it applies to EMS.

However, in the form when filling out your address, the country section lists china and other countries.
Doesn't hurt to fill out the form and give some bad karma to him.
Next time if you hear from him, try to get his phone number!

It applies to EMS and all international parcels. Just depends what kind of international agreement the USA has with the senders country. Typically punishment for international mail fraud is much more severe than domestic.
