Don't worry about how grisly the game is. Just worry about how sucky the game is.

that game was so fucking god awful it made me shit my pants and even that was cool compared to this game. graphix = 2/10. gameplay = 0/20. originality = creators should be fucking killed on sight.

yes its grisly in the sense that you can kill someone by stabbing them in the head repeatedly with a shard of glass. something i wish would have happened to me when i was playing the game. so cruel that the developers would tease their fans like that. :crying:

Agreed 100% It is a very very bad game with some violent moves that does nothing but raises the attention of idiotic government types.

The gameplay isn't THAT bad.
It's rather fun at first, but gets boring quick.
Especially during the later levels, when you just run around and shoot people.

It really makes you jump a bit in the early levels though.

Agreed. The early levels are pretty fun, since you get a chance to feel out the stealth mechanics of the game and what will get you killed and what will save your ass. And The Director is voiced by Brian Cox, so the game gets some credit for that, at least. :glee:

Actually, i loved the game. Played it right through to the end.

It starts of well, then goes downhill for afew levels as they're so samey. However once passed the half way mark and you start getting your hands on firearms it quickly picks up and stays that way.

The atmosphere in this game is incredible and capitavated me a damn site more than others. The music in particular is absolutely great , imagine an 80's John Carpenter movie soundtrack and you're there. Great use of Synth. Swearing is over-done though, i'd agree on that.

The final few levels are an absolute bastard to finish due to sheer difficulty, but the 2 end fights are absolutely brilliant. The one fight, in a burned out , decrepid attic scared me more than all the Silent Hill games combined, it's a real knuckle chewer.

Clearly inspired by movies like 'The Running Man' and 'Hard Target', if you like the kind of set up those movies have i'm sure you'll enjoy yourself.

People are quick to jump on the 'I H8 THiZ GAYME' bandwagon , why i don't know, as it was initially well-recieved by both reviewers and gamers i'd spoken to.

Anyone with half a brain could see the games banning was used as an easy scapegoat for the media. But of course, the general media being stupid as it is, actually gave the game MORE free publicity and shot from #74 to the top 10 in the UK charts.

I bought it the day it came out and loved it. Never got to finish it though :crying: .It's way better then that POS GTA series. Only problem is like others said it get's dull later on. I loved suffocating that dude at the beginning with a plastic bag it was fun :D I'd say get if it's 20 bucks or less it's really underrated. And for your question it's very gruesome :buttrock: I loved using the crowbar wish they had a meat hook in it.
