I went and picked up an XM receiver tonight for the show returning tomorrow... Really psyched after 2 years of a lull.

The XM unit is fucking cool. I never would have picked up a pay service for music, but I've really been turned around. There's like 200 channels, the SKYFI unit is sweet and the quality is incredible. I'd recommend this to anyone who loves their music.

I'm waiting for the SKYFI2 unit myself. It's got a cool blue screen that's easier to read, and you can actually "rewind" live audio. I'm thinking about Sirius, though...

We just a 3 month free trial of XM when we bought our Honda. I'm really liking the sound quality, although it sometimes sounds less than what "digital" is supposed to. Especially the hip hop stations they just sound like ass all the time. I usually keep it on Ethel and the sound quality is in general above what one might download off the net.

Sirus is supposed to better for more selection but the sound quality is supposed to be lacking as is the coverage(drop out in certain places).

I really thinking about subscribing to XM after the trial period. I can't listen to FM radio because it annoys me and sounds worse than ass. Also I'm too lasy to burn my own cds. So XM gets my approval.

My mother and I both preordered the O&A channel a few months back and my reciever doesn't get the channel :( Her's does. And on the xm website it says both of ours are activated. Fuck!

Oh yeah, O&A kick ass, my whole family would listen to them everyday. I'm so glad they're back. Listening to the same CD-Rs, while having a bunch of content, is nothing compaired to the live stuff. :buttrock:

Opie and Anthony suck, and so do all the other Stern clones.

Stern does something in the morning, and you hear these tools doing the same thing later in the day.

Clones.. hahah... get with the program.

THat's why howie took the two years they had off to steal all of their bits.

It's Just Wrong = Feels for Meals... plus about 50 others.

O&A and Stern all suck.

Let me know when any of them are consistently funny.

edit: vt, clean out the pm box.

Opie and Anthony were funny... back when I was like 20.

Now i'm 30 and I love NPR radio, listen to audiobooks on my commute, and although XM radio costs what, $10 a month? Too bad as it is, but you know it is starting to look appealing.

You know, may I say that I can't stand loud and neurotic DJ's, silly callers, and the same damn radio playlists I hear day to day. Plus all the mee-too mainstream society that just drowns within the FM radio band makes me sick.

Good to hear what you had to say about XM. Its looking good so far.

Besides the fact O&A have their own *Station* (which fucking rules, I might add....) The service is pretty sweet. IT was nice to peruse through like 150 channels of music and not hear the same 4 songs repeating. There's about 10-15 stations for every genre, no commercials and it's crystal clear. It also works in my office and I'm in the center of an all concrete building... took a little finagling, but it's up.

I would've never bought one if not for O&A, but I wish I would have a while ago now. It's only 10 bucks a month.

Highest reccommendation.

Whatever, any of those It's just wrong style games are just variations of things that Stern has done before. He gets some sponsor to put up some money and he finds something people can do that he can laugh at.

The bottom line is that without Stern, none of these people would be around. The whole format is a copy of Stern. Just like all of these reality shows are copies of Real World (not that I like reality TV at all)

Hooo hooo hooo.. Stern invented everything.

They even admit Stern started the trend, but he's old and stale.. and a hypocrite.

They're doing a completely different style.

I'm like... "Whatever" about Stern. I think he's just disgusting...

Yet I fekkin loved his movie. One of the funniest i've seen. Sorta good little story too. The scene where the chick was sitting on the speakers is just classic :buttrock:
