I rented it and ripped it to my XBOX HDD. Wasn't sure if it was worth the money. But if I had to buy it I wouldn't pay 49.99 for it. Its a short game as far as the storyline goes. I beat in 11 hrs no walkthroughs and everything done on my own. You can still play after beating the final villain but whats the point? After completing the game you can do more quests, settle down and marry, max out all your stats and get all the secrets. It wasn't my intent to beat the game so fast. I didn't realise it because before you fight the final boss you can't go ANYWHERE.

It was worth the money.

Thought short, its addicitve. If the game was really bad, no one would have beaten it.

Don't buy it full price. The game sucks it's one of those that's good the first few hours but after a while it just sucks :very_ang: .

I forgot to mention I had lots of fun during the time I played, so don't let the shortness discourage you from at least playing it.

I say yes only because I paid $20 for it.... If I have to pay $50, I would say no.

Its alright. Nothing amazing. If it was released back when the xbox first came out it would have been Great. I think its worth the money if you are bored and nothing like halo 2 is coming out anytime soon.

Yeah, it's extremely easy.
Especially if you focus on magic skills.
You can kill the last boss with ranged lightning without being hit once (just hold the button and sit there for a minute). Hehe.

It was good for what it was, but it wasn't much. A story arc that takes five hours to finish...not good. But the game is pretty, plays well, and sounds terrific. You better believe I played my $50 out of Fable, playing through to three of the four endings. About the same amount of time it took to finish KotOR one time through.

Definitly a solid but ultimately disappointing RPG.

Heh, yeah this game is a total bore for what it was supposed to be. Somehow I had 'darker Animal Crossing' in my head and all I got was Quest 64 except instead of ridiculously hard its ridiculously easy.

For short games Luigi's Mansion and Pikmin 'fucking own, long live GameCube'

Live KOF, SF, CvS2, SvC, Crimson Skies, Counter-Strike, Guilty Gear, and Bust-a-Move is some of the best gaming you'll ever find.

I'm guessing you don't enjoy playing fighting games online then.

Oh and it has a ton of other great FPS games, plus Steel Battalion, and online play. Oh and Halo 2 in about a month. :P

GC has Zelda....next year.

On topic:

Fable looks pretty good and was decent for the hour I played of it (friend left it over my house by accident). I'm in the middle of too many other games to start it, so if I get hit by the mood to play Fable when I'm done with what I'm playing now, it'll be down to $20 or so.
