That is a fake. Click that link and fill out the info and some thief (overseas probably) will have all your personal info and controll over your Ebay (and maybe even paypal) account.
Ebay and Paypal NEVER send Emails containing direct links.

Yarrrrr ... I get these sometimes too. The ones that I get the most are the Paypal ones. I'm always getting one about me changing my e-mail address, or a reciept for a 280 dollar playstation game.

Damn some people won't give, up on that scam. You think by now scammers would give up on that stunt. Every body by now, on the internet should know about it. :eek_2:

Also, note that Ebay and paypal will always refer to you, using your name.

This "Dear Ebay Member" or "Dear Paypal member" are bullshit.
Will never ask you to log in and enter personal info either.

Yep...got three of them this week alone...anything from eBay and PayPal I just delete. If there's any important news going on from either place, it's best to go to the sites and not through the bogus emails ;)

I recently changed email address so I haven't had any of these for a while. I used to get around 5 per week. As xtoo_short20x says, ebay and paypal will always refer to you by your name, not "Dear random ebay member."

Well, actually I get sometimes mails from PayPal containing direct link to some features.

That was the case of some problem with my account (extra datas to be sent according to a new European regulamentation)...

Yet the secure servers adresses are the key to spot fakes...
