I didn't get a PS2 for awhile (finally broke down about a month ago).

Up until then I had Virtua Fighter 4, R-type Final, and Tekken 4 for the PS2, with no way to play them. I was just a little concerned that VF4 and R-type might get pretty tough to find as sealed games, whereas I knew the PS2 system would be available for quite awhile. Anyway, I finally got one - so to answer your question, NO. :D

I just picked up a used Jet Set Radio Future for X-Box today. Now that I've spent 6 bucks, I guess there's no longer any backing out of buying an X-Box... The original for DC was maybe one of my 5 favorite games of all time, but I was dead set against the system, and there wasn't anything else out for it I was even a little interested in. Now, that's changing, I guess, so I had to pick up JSRF.

I bought RB2, FF3, MotW (and I think RBFF) on MVS in the couple months leading up to my taking the plunge to buy a cab early this year.

I bought CVS2 and Silent Hill 2 before I bought PS2 a couple years ago.

Like a few other people I know, I also owned around 10-15 DVDs before I bought my first DVD player. I think buying a few cheap $20 little things helps me convince myself to go ahead and buy a less cheap hundreds-of-dollars thing.

I bought King of Fighters 94-00 for MVS before I had a board to play it them on. Then after I bought the board I got the controllers, then I had to wait for my video encoder, then I had to wait for a power supply...anyway I did a lot of staring at my carts.

I have U.S. versions of Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution and Katamari Damacy but no PS2 console. I'm not sure whether I should get a the SCPH-50000 U.S. model with a DMS3+ modchip, the Pearl White JP SCPH-50001 model with a DMS3+ modchip, or wait for the PSTwo.

Due to systems being stolen/lost/broken, I have built up quite a small collection of NES(maybe two or three), GB(around seven), N64(hell if I know), and PS2(two) games.

EDIT: There's really no excuse not to own those systems I guess. Some systems I don't even play anymore due to me being too lazy to go out and actually buy what I need for it. I don't play my Genesis anymore because I don't have an RF unit for it (yes, RF unit). My Game Gear? I don't feel like buying six goddamn batteries for it. My NGPC? Don't feel like buying the lithium battery.

I bought my SFA3 CPS2 before I had a supergun....talk about torture.

I also have a few Jaguar games I kept [duplicates from when I sold my collection in college...what a mistake. Never sold any more stuff after learning that painful lesson...did the same thing with my Atari 5200 collection]

turok evolution on gba, cus i was told it's like metal slug , and i rarely see it.
i'll be able to play it when the ds comes out, cus right now, i think the gba is a nicely designed and functional system turned to garbage as it has only a handful of choice games.
