If you haven't noticed already "invincible" isn't truly invincible. You can still connect with a red circle power down. And if that power down happens to be "evil squares", you're fucked. Especially if you still think you're invincible.

I've noticed that as well. I got 16k-something, but I hit play again before I wrote down the actual score. Didn't even see how many squares it was either.
