Finally got this game and played it a little bit. So far I really like it, nice and easy combo system and it is a tag match game. I'd say graphics are nice but nothing to brag about, Martial Masters has it beat easy, but I think Killing Blade has much more replay value than Martial Masters does. Here are a couple of screenshots, when I get some more time I'll post more info on it and pics and/or video.

So that's what it looks like. Looks like an inferior Last Blade.
Are the controls smooth?

I like the art style (waterfall stage looks really nice), and of course bearing similarities to the Last Blad series is a good thing IMO. Oh, and by the way, what system is the PGM? :help:

http://www.system16.com/other/hrdw_pgm.html here is the pgm and note that the later games were a board and game combo like SVC and KOF2K3 boards. As for the controls, it is smooth and mostly KOF moves and specials, though there 2 special meters that allow you to do 2 different combos, one is a sort of rip off of the CD attack in Sam Sho 4 and the other is your standard super special move.

PGM motherboard

:D AWSOME DUDE! i think i am going to buy a Super Nova
from Mas Systems so i can play Demon Front, Martial Masters,
Killing Blade & the Knights of Valor series. Also an Atomiswave
motherboard too.

I never knew they had those Arcades, i wish i could go to the
Arcades but sadly i can't anymore though.

They should put some Arcade classics like TMNT, Super SF2 Turbo,
Mortal Kombat 1,2,3, & Ultimate or Aliens vs Predator Arcade.

That would be so AWSOME! if game companie's would do that. Retro anyone?

I've personally been thinking about getting me a copy of this game.
I have the artwork so far. A kit would probably be really tough to find.
Sonofx51, do you know the release date of this game?

What's the original released date of the PGM system anyway?
I thought I had read, it was '99 or '00? anyone?

I am pretty sure it was released in 1997 since I have not seen a game for it older than that.

Looks pretty cool, i really like the blood effects. The whole thing reminds me of Ninja Masters! How smooth does it exactly play? and how is the animation, if its not as good as MM what game would you compare it too?

Btw where did you pick it up? if you sell it let me know first :D

I would compare it to a Breakers quality but with smaller character sprites. I bought it from Coinop, I plan on buying Gladiator next, and it will be the last game I get for my PGM. If I get bored of it or decide to sell it, I'll let you know NeoDragoN, though for now I am really enjoying the game.

I enjoy gladiator. I think I am leaning towards Asura Buster over killing blade for my next coin op express purchase though.
