The "Sound Unseen" film festival begins tonight, and I think I'll be going to the opening night movie, then heading over to the opening night party.

The details of the movie are below, the url for festival is www.soundunseen.com

Anyone else thinking of going? If so, let me know and we can meet up.

"Hop-Fu: Superninjas"
Friday, October 1, 7:30pm, Oak Street Cinema
Friday, October 1, 9:30pm, Oak Street Cinema
Special Ticket Price $8

Brooklyn’s DJ IXL and DJ Spae return to Minneapolis to present a World Premiere powerhouse performance of the 1982 classic kung-fu flick Superninjas. The Five Element Ninjas (Gold, Fire,Water, Wood, Land) face off against Chinese fighters in a dangerous adventure of good and evil. Accompanied by a hard-hitting audio remix by dueling turntablists, complete with a fury of kicks and jabs infused by beats and scratches, the re-mixed soundtrack creates a furious composition that matches every kick, punch and flip onscreen with pin-point precision. An incredible live experience.

Hop-Fu presented Samo Hung's "Prodigal Son" to a full house at the 2002 Sound Unseen Festival

---------------------

The after-party should be pretty good.

What? I'm polling interest for a movie tonight. You're more than welcome to hop on an ATA flight and join us :) "Plane Ticket!" ...only in a good way.

I'm also going to have to pass...too broke...I am saving all of my money for the Bergman film festival later this month.

Aside from that I'm only 40 hours in to Dragon Warrior VII...I have lots of work to do.

Have a good time.

We should combine our efforts and put that PIP of yours to good use.

These shows tend to degrade year-by-year to the point of interfrastric intillusional pompus and frankly high-end pretention. The artistic integrity and admiration has been replaced by self-serving and oblivious notions of musical and visual value so much as to degrade those with any kind of fluency and understanding of the language.

Well besides all that nonsense, I'm going to see the following:

HOP FU
Bodysong
Moog
& maybe Haack: The King of Techno

I really can't wait to see the Moog movie. I don't know what it is, but those synthesizers are just pure gold to my ears.

Uhoh... I just realized were in unrelated. Here come the movie Nazis
