How much is Tivo monthly?

I dunno, but I know for only a few hundred dollars you can get a lifetime subsricption thing. I'd opt for that.

You need a subscription b/c the hardware is dirt cheap and they provide a monthly service. If you have a tivo you'll wonder how you did without it.

If you get a DirecTV Tivo then it's only an extra $4 I think.

I bought my first one WAY back when the lump-sum fee was lower. I've since added the DirecTV option too.

Yeah, if you already have DirecTV, the Tivo service is only $4 or $5 extra a month. I don't know if the special is still going on, but I upgraded to a Tivo box through DirecTV for only $99 a while back. Pretty good deal.

Damn, I've posted about 5 or 6 times today. I need to slow down :)

I picked up a DirecTV Tivo box with the larger 80GB hard drive for $99 at Best Buy.
