Thats it really.
Oh, and try and catch uncensored news on channels that dont show a sugared version.
I don't think we can pull out of Iraq, even though I was against starting the whole damn war. But US military tactics HAVE TO CHANGE.
For gods sake pick a president that'll re-think this catastrophe!

I think people vote with their heart too much already...part of the problem. 'Vote with your brian' should be the goal.

Holy crap Metal Slug, scale that shizzle down.

Probably be just listening to, and taping, the debate on NPR, seeing that the TV may not be working and I just don't watch much TV.

People are so polarized already that I don't think the debates will make much of a difference. Most people have already chosen sides. We'll see what happens though.

My heart says that only a shithead liberal would make a post like this and then compliment it by not scaling down the random image they decided to include in their post.

My heart tells me to vote for Lobsterman (an amateur wrestler who once ran for state office in NH.)

Lobsterman in 2004

Due to the fact that he is not included on the ballot I will be withholding my vote as well as my interest in the election.

completely on the same wavelength with ya on that...and for some reason I'm treating the debate like a football game or something, complete with beer and munchies...just hope to see slo-mo instant replay catching Bush "fumble the ball"

No ball fumbling allowed. This is a family debate. Children could be watching this.

Or you can educate your children about the linebacker and the running back.

Kids grow up so quickly nowadays :sniff: :sheds tear:

LMAO!!
My brain tells me that only a blinkered, lobotomised right-wing clone would mistake me for a 'shithead liberal' when I'm a dyed in the wool uber left-wing 'shithead' socialist, whilst complimenting it with tacit acceptance of the appalling civilian losses at the hands of the US forces.

Big picture=Big message! ;)
It'll stay till one of the mods axes it!!

Yeah, I know.
I thought about it, but if I leave it that size, people actually have to make an effort to read and digest it, which I thought would have more of a chance of getting the point over than a quick glance at the whole thing?

I was going to use one of the iRaq ones, but I think that US folks are pretty much like UK folks, and only things that make them think 'whoa, could this affect me?' are likely to make them care even a little bit.
I don't think our respective populations are bad people, just a bit 'insulated'.
The more the world sees US forces blowing up civilians (like the Apache rocket attack on the disabled Bradley with the kids on it/people all around it/film crew reporting it etc, last week) the more the rest of the world is likely to not want to help protect us from terrorism in general (and as we are seeing in Iraq, all the terrorists need is for the rest of the civilian population to turn a 'blind eye' to their presence). Aside from the fact that we just shouldn't kill civilians at all costs!
Its also time we realised that you can't use heavy weapons to 'precisely' attack houses in built-up areas without murdering innocent people who are the reason you are there in the first place.

Brian doesn't vote these days.... :(

Last I heard, the Communist Party is not running its own candidate for fear of taking votes away from John Kerry.

Everyone needs to watch them and hear the candidates for themselves.
I personally think there should be a ban on political advertising until after the first debate myself...there's so many potential voters who've already tuned out this whole nasty process...it's really old, even for a political hound like myself.

I know how I'm voting, and I'm done carping about it. Online at least. ;)

Yeah, I guess I didn't take into account that not all families have a Brian. If you do have a Brian, make sure he votes from the heart, I guess. (dang it)

Debate Roll Call!

Listening to NPR now. Will post impressions after I hear 5, 6 questions answered.
