CrouchingTiger relating to other NEO games...

I'm curious that if someone(s) made a game like this that ripped off different KOF's and other fighting games......Could the same be done with other games? I mean, I guess it could be done, but is it legal, and if not, is there a way to make it legal. It seems to me that it would be cool if some the Neo-Geo gamers that have the know-how could be making some of their own KOF's, Samurai Shodown's, Last Blades, Metal Slugs...... Not that any of those would turn out cool at all, but if someone with the right ideas did it it could turn out cool. I never played Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, it's probably glitchy...... I don't know, I'm talking out of my ass... What do any of you think of people making their own "versions" of different Neo titles??? And have there been any other non-official games like this before?

It is not.

SNKP would have to give up the rights to their intellectual properties for this to be legal - which ain't gonna happen. I guess it has the potential to be kinda cool, but it'd probably turn out to be more of a hack job.
