I'm starting my own thread up about people that blow at making deals for one reason or another. Don't worry, to be on this list here you have to have fucked up alot. Not that many people really, but I'm sick of it. This is for you bullshit artists

Start off proceedings: never deal with Megabuys.com - the folk who have an ebay store and sell brand new games (but non-new releases) - so they have 94% positive feedback - I was on the loosing end of a deal - its been 4 months, payed 200 dollars for goods that never turned up - all I get is excuses - very lame ones - or my 100 emails per week simply get ignored. So you may deal with them and come out ok, but the you may not. Chances of a refund? 0. cunts. check their neg feedback before you look at their +

Then there's time-waster, complete fuckface extraordinaire Hobgoblin. Yes you remember that idiot. Well he left with a final little scam - I bought a game's package from him and only got half of it (the lesser half by far) - not fun when you've shelled out 250 fucking dollars you don't even really have to spend. Took about 3 months to ship. If I'm ever in the US I'll make sure to pay you a visit Lloyd. Maybe deserved it though, I knew he was being called out for something but couldn't resist what was layed on the table. He's still a cunt though.

Ofcourse, I've messed up in the past - a combination of factors led me to not work my end as well as I should - but I always made sure to answer all messages as soon as I could, try to make up for time loss with extras, and generally make some sort of effort for failing (my biggest weak spot has always been timeframes -I'm not making excuses but Argentina is a third world country and shipping is majorly expensive sometimes - its not always easy, but you struggle and do what you have to).
Even so - I'm very gratefull to the many people I have dealt with here over the past couple of years, who have been incredibly cool (Fatman, Riotoftheblood, Bluevoodu, you top that list). Seriously. It's people like you who make me stick around and continue to make great deals. It just enriches my experience of being a neo geo fan so much. I thank you all.

here's the lowdown.

about some 8 months ago I answered one of this guy's wanted threads - he was offering an xbox in exchange for a neo geo aes unit.
we sorted out a deal and out of courtesy, I offered to ship first (cost me 80 dollars aprox to ship the unit, controller, and 2 games by air). He recieved the unit, was a bit unhappy about the packing (must have been one of my off days as I pack pretty well), and even more so due to the AV cable being missing


So as not to waste anymore time, I bought one on ebay and had it sent to the man. This was on my back, no problems there - I just wanted to make this as smooth as possible.

So he tries out the unit and sais its defective and that he's shipping it back - I say clean it a little that it works fine - he does and is happy. Tells me he will ship the XBOX.

I get a message a short time later saying he shipped - BY FUCKING SURFACE!! because it was going to cost him too much otherwise - this was without consulting me at all. complete fucking bullshit - uninsured without tracking number.
But I bite my lip and go along with it - not much choice in the matter. All this was carried out with much respect by the way.

So I wait. And I wait, and I wait some more and nothing, and PM him telling him this.

yup, the chump had sold the neo geo unit I sent him while I was still out of pocket and out of console.

He gets back to me on the PM and sais I might be scamming him - starts a thread up asking members about me and comes back with an apology for the acusations.
Asks me what I want to do, I say send me some money - 50% of what the neo geo cost plus shipping - so we agreed on shitty 125 dollars (not 50% but ok). That was almost 7 months ago.

Since then he stopped replying my PMs so I hunted him down and sent him a message via ebay while he was auctioning off some stuff - the reply was swift:

hi man Its me, Ignacio Prieto (devilredeemed from ng.com). I'm seriously concerned about our deal. You haven't written back at all and you said you'd pay me back a long time ago. Please tell me what the situation is, its not like I want to bug you, but this is getting bad. Please get back to me ASAP. thanks."

Dude, I lost my job and have been busting my ass trying to find a new one. That's why I'm selling this stuff. I'll pay you when I can. Please don't use my eBay account to reach me. I'll e-mail you when I can make payment.

Time passed and no answer so I wrote back saying that I would be wanting my money asap as I had been scammed recently and was out of patience. He rudely replied that he was sick of my insistence and that he had waited over a month for his stuff and I should return the courtesy - so I apologised (because I know what its like to struggle, even though he was clearly in the wrong).

Wrote again to him a couple of weeks later - he said he was still out of work and hadn't forgotten about me.

That was a month ago - this past week I have written to him like 5 times. No answer. Said to pay me back in installments. no answer. told him I'd reduce his fucking debt. no answer. told him to write back confirming that he was hard up, that I'd be fine. no answer.

Its been 7 months since he got my stuff. I haven't recieved shit. All I got is hot air, excuses, and alot of empty fucking promises. The package cost me almost 300 dollars in total. I wasn't even going to be able to hold the XBOX as I was strapped for cash and would have to sell it immediately.

Just look over the different points of this last post
- the fucker ships by surface mail without even telling me, doesn't insure has no tracking number, nothing.
- sells the neo geo I sent him before I recieved anything (he simply assumed I had recieved the XBOX. I don't think so)
- Is way rude, stops answering my messages, doesn't pay up. 7 MOTHERFUCKING MONTHS DOWN THE LINE!!!! I wasn't rude to this bitch once.

blueeyeswhitedragon2500 is his name on ebay - has a perfect score of 60 - done some decent deals here on the site - SCAMMED ME QUITE BADLY. Funny to think someone on this site bought my neo geo unit though I never even fucking sold it.

I'm so sick of this shit, all this time I've just been as nice as I could be and this is what I get. Thanks for nothing Carlos.

you know.... I have been scammed off these boards 4-5 times.... I have had more than my fair share of tume wasters....

I really wish people would quit dicking around with good buyers and sellers.

Bulletnyourass, I WISH I still had this fool's personal info, but alas, I no longer do.

Anyway... not much point of going on about it anymore. If anyone ever locates him or crosses his path, tell him scammer or no scammer, I'm going to make sure I will get my dues.
