...for a response for a three year old transaction.

I figured I didn't have to make a fuss since the guy doesn't post much or sell things here in the last three years. But since my recent pm is not being responded to and the member has made recent posts, it's time to speak up.

I paid for a last blade home cart three years ago. After paying, I had a little communication with the seller and expected my game. Filed my paypal claim, got a decision in my favor, but not enough funds in the sellers account so I get $11 back.

Few months go by, I contact seller informing him that I have no game, lost a chunk of money and wanted to know the status, and seller responded. According to the seller, for some reason, the package was returned to him and when he saw that paypal resolved the dispute in my favor, he figured I got my money, was not going to send the game. The last I heard from him was that the game was repackaged and going to be shipped Monday. This is in November 2004.

Every time the guy has the nerve to log in, let alone post, I send a pm asking for some sort of response. Haven't had one in nearly three years.

Although I love the game, I don't want to hear this guy to tell me he's going to send it again, for the third time. I know I'm not going to get my money back either. This post is mostly therapeutic because it bothers me that this guy still posts here even if I bug him every time I see him logged on.

Paypal sucks end of story. I had a similar situation a few years ago where i paid someone $700 for some software and they never delivered. I filed a chargeback through paypal and won but he only had $50 in his account. So i got $50 and an apology from paypal, whoo hoo! Imo paypal should be liable, its their service that helped ripped me off and they don't care one way or the other. The only reason i sent the payment through paypal is for buyer protection, but thats all bullshit, as a buyer you have no protection unless you use a credit card. If you used a credit card through paypal then you can bypass paypal and go directly to your credit card company and they will give you the full amount, in which case then its paypal thats screwed and not the consumer

paypal serves it's purpose most of the time.

And while it did suck to not get my money back, I don't see how it's paypal's fault for the guy not sending me my game and then withdrawing paypal funds to prevent me from getting all of my money back.

Agreed 100%. I say you post his personal information, since he apparently has no intention of refunding you.

Well from what I remember (this was awhile back) I had bought a neo geo and quite a few games but got bored and got rid of them along with a neo geo cd system, and ended up selling stuff only through this website, which ended up being maybe 10-15 transactions with other members, not to mention great feedback on ebay. I ended up getting the game back that he bought for whatever reason and then had whatever money was in my paypal account taken out, and the account locked. I sent the game out one more time, and after that never bothered with it or this site again. So who knows what happened. It was a long time ago, and I am not exactly clear what happened but to be honest I don't really care at this point. I did my part, I am not a business, I'm not interested in buying anything or selling anything to anyone on this site after this trouble anyway. So if you didn't get your game the second time I sent time I sent it out to you, I don't know what to tell you or anyone else here.

Whether your story is true or not, it would have been a lot more believable 3 years ago, when it didn't show up the second time, two years ago when I asked you about it, or any other time I asked you about it.

As I said earlier, I do not expect the game or my money at this point. All I was looking for was a response to any of the messages I sent to you. When you weren't posting here I didn't care about this mess. Maybe it's not obvious to you, but when you post while ignoring pm's, it's annoying.

First of all: Paragraphs. They work wonders.

Second, you apparently did not do your part, since there's a (rather patient) person here complaining about your 3 year old transaction. I don't suppose you have any sort of proof that you sent the game out, right? Of course you don't. If you had actually sent the game, you would've posted well before now.

If you don't either refund 2point0, or send his game, your name should be spread across the internet as a known scammer.
