I use it on my supergun's standard DB-15 ports. The B button sometimes just doesn't work. I have to position the controller just right in the port or prop it up with something to get the B button to work like it should. I should note that these DB15 ports were crimped BUT all other controls work fine and the other AES stick I have works perfectly (I mainly use the problem stick with P1's port, I re-crimped the B pin there and still no change). I've tried this on my MVS's controller ports and I sometimes still don't get the B button working like it should (can't do this on my SVC motherboard anyhow). As a remedy I put some masking tape on the underside of the controller to prop it up and it works a bit better but still not always (this can't be a permanent solution anyhow!).
I should note it's always been this way, I just never thought to ask about it here
. Usually if I unplug and plug back the connector it will work fine but not always (sometimes you really gotta position it and hope it doesn't move).
Any way at all that I could repair it, short of attatching a new connector to the stick? What cables do you joystick builders usually use that are deep enough to go into a Neo port?
