Does your modded Xbox flash red/green when you boot it up?

Mine boots after the first flash of lights.

The only time ive seen one do that is when the video cable was unplugged.

Red and green = bad.

Mine did that when the modchip was bad aligned, and it would reset 2 or 3 times and then it wouldn't work. Definately is not a good signal, there may be something wrong in your mod. Now that mine works well the light is only green on start-up.

Tonk, I got the same chip as you, and yes its supposed to flash red (then turns to orange) when the chip is activated.

Sometimes it takes me a couple of tries to power it on with the chip activated...

I think u everyone else,got it .

I have the same chip,u have to hold to power button for a sec to turn on the chip.
