It's about damn time we got some NFL discussion going on here. Shout-out for your favorite team, brag about victories, talk about the best and worst plays. Whatever!

I'm a Jets fan myself, though I actually like to root for the Giants as well. The Jets are definitely looking like the better team so far. Martin is on fire!

The only game I got to see a lot of today, though, was the Bengals - Miami matchup. Talk about offensive ineptitude. Going into the fourth I think the longest drive of the whole day was 37 yards or something like that. I'm glad Miami lost seeing as they're in the same division as the Jets... New England will be hard enough to compete with.

My favorite play of the day (from the highlight reels) was when that guy Brady Smith of the Falcons grabbed the ball out of Bulger's hand in the end zone for an instant touchdown. That shit was hilarious.

That was indeed hilarious, a DE performing a touchdown.

Bears > Packers (fudge)

As a bears fan, that makes me pretty ecstatic. Usually the packers stomp the bears every year.

I couldn't believe that one when I saw it. Would've been more funny if it wasn't for the fact that the RAMS are my team!!! :very_ang:

1-1 to start the season and not looking good in either game...may be a long season for the RAMS :oh_no:

Panther's looked much better this week that's for sure. If the Browns weren't such absolute shit the Cowboys would be 0-2 right now. How often does your QB throw 3 INTs in 5 attempts Testaverde?

"It's not the kind of game I like to be involved with,'' Cowboys coach Bill Parcells said. "But, we got away with it.''

That was one of the funniest things I have ever seen in football. He was running towards the other end until he realized he was already there.

Edit: DA BEURS!

That was beautiful. I was at that game, also got tickets for next week against the Cardinals. That should be an easy win letting the birds get off to a 3-0 start.
:buttrock:

IMO, this is the best the Falcons have ever looked. A healthy Vick, and Dunn. Duckett continues to improve each season. Price ( a highly overlooked WR) and Mora running the show fixing up the defence. I smell the superbowl.

PS- If not the Falcons, I'd love to see the Jags go, winning a superbowl at home. Priceless.

pats look wicked good, eh guy?

i'm still in baseball mode but with Brady operating out of that two tight end set, Dillon providing the ball control and balancing out the offense, and Rodney fucking taking out some ankles, it's looking pretty good so fah.

oh yeah, the coach ain't too shabby either.

Anyone else think The Eagles really got away with one tonight? They were saved by some bonehead Vikings penalties and that way-too-favorable touchdown call late. I thought that the Vikings clearly had their way with the Eagles defense more times than the Eagles should be happy with.

Brown and Tillman are hurt for the bears . Oh well if they go 2-14 as long as those 2 are against Greenbay I guess I can live with that .

49'ers fan here. They're awful, I know.
I kinda like the Raiders, and the Ravens a little too.

Well they stole the show for so many years so it's about time they sucked for a while.

Week 3, bitches.

My Jets had a bye.

Can you guys believe this Miami game? Too bad I can't find anything but Tampa Bay and Oakland on. I saw some clips of this Miami game and it's like they're playing in a lake. :buttrock:
