Reviews & info on KoF 2003?

Anyone know any good, thorough reviews on KoF2003?

Kazuya and the reviews' section here haven't covered the game it seems, so i'm really off the loop on what it's like. (Haven't been able to play it myself, since there's prolly no arcade spot in my country that even has it)

I've been digging out info on it from these forums, but all i've got is scraps etc.
Even the video links are broken...

The little i've heard is that it looks great, sounds good and plays well too, after some getting used to. So i'm interested in buying it on MVS...

If anyone has some links to good video clips or/and reviews, i'd much appreciate it... Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.


P.S. One more thing: has the MVS been censored at all? Mai's bounce etc? I read somewhere that the AES had these issues, how bout the MVS?

I did search... But couldn't really find any proper reviews.

Can you tell me about the censoring on the MVS version, Mushiki? Bounce/Blood?

Sorry this is off topic... But your avatar is the SHIT!!!!! I'm obsessed with prince. Favorite albums of his are: Dirty Mind & 1999!!!!!

Kof 2k3 is awsome you should buy it. I believe there are a ton of reviews on gamefaqs. It's like every other kof. If your a fan you'll LOVE it, if your not you'll think its ok but not great.

now that I was finally able to try this game out recently, I'll just quickly add that everyone was right about the timer...Time Over happens waaaay too often, but I still found it quite enjoyable despite that

Hey man, nice to hear that u love prince too He's simply a genius imo, and one funky mf to boot. BTW i also agree the records you mentioned are great. My other faves include the Love Symbol album and Sign 'O' the Times... Hell, all the man's releases are great in different ways. Prince owns all.

Thanks for the tip about gamefaqs. Never thought that they had reviews, so this is very helpful! I'm thinking more and more of getting the game now actually... Just would like to know if the MVS has censoring in it. Any word on this?

Um can't you change this on the MVS through BIOS? Sorry if i'm wrong here... But i thought you could change the time on rounds on an MVS.

Well....

The game is faster than the last KOF.

New main character Ash, Duo, and Shen.

Ash is not your typical hero, as he uses charge attacks a la Guile.
Duo is like Lin.
Shen is like Yashiro.

It's all 3 on 3, and you can change characters like in MVC.

SPOILERS


Midway, you fight the clone of Kyo.

Sub boss is Maki/Chirizu, who is being controlled by some fox girl. Then a burly rock dood named Mukai, who isn't too hard to beat.

The endings are pretty well done, but music could have been better. Blood is still in it, but the bounce is gone.


Anything about gameplay, you will have to ask someone else.

don't have a copy of it myself, but I'm pretty sure you can, so I'm giving you a heads-up to make sure the time setting is to your liking...

yeah it sure seems that way, so lest anyone forget what it's all about I put it in print for all to see

I'm not gonna write a review but I will say this:

1.KOF'03 is different so that might be the best reason to buy it.

2.Unfortunately it's censored in the English language option.

3.Everything is well done except for new characters and gameplay.

4.Only buy this game if you already have '98, '02, and '95. They own it for free.
