My roommate and I recently purchased a very decent one slot conversion that came with one game, Ghost Pilots. Everything is in good working order, but sometimes, for whatever reason, the scores reset.
I am one of five roommates and there are an endless stream of gamers coming in and out of my house...needless to say, competition is heavy. As such, we're all very bummed out when we look over at the machine and, suddenly, our scores are all set back to SNK. This happens even when the power is on, and we can usually have the cab off all night and the scores will be there safe and sound in the morning.
Is there some setting we're missing? Is there battery backup of some sort in the cart that's shot? On any typical cart system I'd think this is the case, but if I'm not mistaken, scores are stored on the board.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated by my whole household.
